Christpher IrvingCHRISTOPHER C. IRVING, M.A.
Executive Director & CEO

Chris is a native of Paterson, New Jersey. Chris has addressed the New Jersey Department of Education, the Paterson Board of Education, the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and several colleges and university all around the United States. In May of 2006, Chris received his Masters of Arts Degree in Public Policy and International Affairs from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. Currently, Chris serves as Executive Director & CEO of CMI. In his spear time Chris is also a Doctoral Student and Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University and Westchester Count College.

DR. JUDITH SPRINGER

Dr. Springer has served as a high school crisis counselor and peer program advisor. She has also served as a co-founder and Co-Director of former YES, Inc. (1995-2006), a fellow for the Center of Applied Psychology at the Graduate School of Applied Psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University, and a licensed psychologist in private practice. By far, the most satisfying aspect of her work experience has been the training programs she has helped develop for both youth and adults.

Jose Luis Posos

Jose Luis Posos Jose Luis Posos is the Program Administrator at CMI, bringing significant years of experience in the area of crisis intervention, diversity training, and leadership training. In addition, Jose is also a trained Sexual and Domestic Violence Response Advocate in New Jersey. Jose received his Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in sociology and a concentration in women's studies from Rowan University. Presently, Jose works at City Year New York as a mentor, tutor, and role model for middle school students in East Harlem.




Freddy Melendez

Freddy Melendez serves as the Public Relations director at CMI receiving his B.A. from Rowan University. Coming to us from West New York, NJ, Freddy brings enormous energy, enthusiasm and charisma which transfers into his work as the PR director and a leadership trainer. Freddy currently interns at Quinn & Co. public relations agency in New York City under the travel division. Freddy's credits also include an internship at Breslow Partners public relations agency in Philadelphia, serving on Rowan University’s Student Leadership Advisory Council and several leadership roles throughout his undergraduate career.

 

 

DR. RITA JOHNSON
Senior Trainer

Dr. Johnson is a Senior Trainer with CMI, providing expertise in human relations and diversity training with students and staff. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University and a Doctorate of Psychology from Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). Presently, Rita is teaching undergraduate psychology courses full time at Cheyney University in Pennsylvania and serves as a part time lecturer at Rutgers University, Camden, New Jersey.

 

Mike Likier, Ph.D. Trainer

Dr. Likier is a licensed psychologist who has been specializing in Multicultural Counseling since entering the Masters program in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University in 1991. Since that time, he has pursued his interests in a wide range of settings including: drug rehabilitation, community mental health, EAP, educational, correctional, inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Mike completed his Doctoral training at Temple University in 2005, where his research focused on Multicultural Counseling Competencies and Racial Identity Development. Mike has given numerous presentations on these topics to professionals in academic, corporate and mental health fields. In addition to his consultation work with the Miller Institute, Dr. Likier is a Staff Psychologist and Adjunct Professor in the Professional Psychology and Family Therapy Programs at Seton Hall University and a faculty member of Partners Reaching to Improve Multicultural Effectiveness (PRIME) Institute at the Drexel University College of Medicine.
